Here are some pics from Mom's recent trip to Colorado! Mom and I enjoyed a day out viewing the art museum, which had some um, yeah, interesting stuff. Then, we headed up to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for a visit. It rained most of the day there but on the way home, we had some major photo opps of a fog rolling into the valley!

We had a very nice weekend! We had a beleated celebration of my 28th birthday by going to Six Flags. We had a very fun time! But, woo hoo, it's very different to ride a roller coaster at age 14 versus age 28. I spent the entire time naseous and with a mild headache. hah! We had a caricature drawn that is really cute. We're going to frame it and put it in the loft. Fun!

























Tonight, after dropping Steve off at the airport, I was cleaning the kitchen and got a desire to paint the kitchen. For those people who have painted a lot, you know that if you ever have the 'urge' to paint, you better take advantage of it because it may never happen again. :) So, I painted all the low lying areas by myself. We had the kitchen painted a yellow that we really really didn't like. We decided to paint it the same brown as the living room. I didn't paint the top parts because I would have probably harmed myself by falling. So, I'll save that for when Steve is home this weekend. I was a machine! This picture is a little hard to tell the difference because it's night time and the yellow looks pretty mild (it's above the cabinets and the brown is below). But, in the daylight, it's totally Wendy's napkin yellow. The brown looks sooo much better!! Yay!

















Ben also got a much-needed bath tonight. I took a couple pics after I dried him off. He looks so funny after a bath--his hair is all kinky!
