So Full of So Fas....

Well, last night, we purchased another sofa and loveseat set (hence the title, so full of so fas…get it?!?)

Anyhoo, this was a deal we couldn’t pass up! One of Steve’s co-workers is heading back east and selling off furniture. She had a practically brand new sofa and loveseat (from Scandinavian Designs .. oolala) that Steve and I were interested in. Along with Randy (http://huskerhysteria.blogspot.com) we went last night to take a peek at these goods and we walked away with ownership to another (this will be our third!) sofa set. It was quite the deal though—brand new chocolate brown leather sofa and loveseat—very comfortable, but not poofy (I do not dig the poofy leather). A minor battle, largely instigated by Randy who egged us on, ensued about placement of the sofa. Steve won this battle (but he owes me, he just doesn’t know it yet) and we will place the sofa and loveseat in the formal living room. We’ll keep our new sofa and loveseat in the family room because it’s really big and spacious and best for watching tv and stuff. And, the old green one will go in the loft. Probably more detail than anyone cares to know, but hey, it’s what I’ve got to give.

We then dined on the reliably delicious fare of Chick-fil-A and then headed to the house, where Randy started another fight about the placement of the loveseat and sofa. We were hoping for drywall to be up, but no such thing. They have put all the insulation in, the concrete tiles on the roof and they will be pouring the walkway soon. Hopefully we’ll see more action when we go this weekend.

This weekend, with troublemaker Randy gone on vacation, Steve and I are discussing a road trip. Don’t know where we’ll go, but I think we want to head out and explore the great lands of Colorado. I want to hang out at the pool a bit (with spf 40 in hand) and enjoy the rays.

Mom’s Birthday (Happy 63rd Bday mom!) is coming up on Sunday. Uncle Doug’s birthday is coming up on Friday. Happy Birthday to all of the special birthday girls and boys!!!

Nephew Charlie is doing well. He had some troubles for a while because he wasn’t getting enough food, but he’s back in the game (typical Lucas with a hearty appetite!). Yay for a happy and healthy Charlie.
