Coach Steve and Coach Hannah...

Starting this Saturday, Steve and I will begin a new phase in life---the soccer coach phase.

My former boss from Kansas City Lisa (aka the world's most connected woman) emailed me with a request. Her nephew in Denver is on a 3&4 year old soccer team at the Y and they need a coach. She thought maybe Steve and I would be interested. We talked it over and thought it would be a super fun time. One hour each Saturday, we'll herd a group of 11 munchkins and try to teach them some basics of soccer and help them to have fun. Steve can be the sports guy, I can be the child-herder. Now, not only does this sound like a sweet deal as is, but it gets even better!

1.) In a way to sweet talk me into being co-coach, Lisa told me she would name her next child or pet after me. Finally. It's about time someone did this!

2.) The team has agreed to buy Steve and me matching outfits similar to those of Will Ferrell in the kiddie soccer movie, Kicking and Screaming. (see picture below)






















That second one might not pan out, but mark my word--the next Pelofsky will be "Hannah" Pelofsky. Mark my word!!!

Okay, gotta go whip up game strategies and hand embroider team uniforms.
